Working with the NWRA Arizona Chapter and hosted by Waste Connections, the citizens of Phoenix turned in approximately 400 lbs. batteries! Many of which were lithium ion and had the potential of causing fires. Thanks to all that attended and skipped the bin!

Woodsy Owl had the chance to give lots of high fives to all of the cool kids (and parents) that came out for Republic Services family day! All while educating everyone on the, “Skip the Bin! Turn Your Batteries In!” campaign and collecting batteries.
